Alpine Launches First Complete Sound System Upgrade for Tesla
Alps Alpine North America, Inc. has announced the release of the automotive industry's first comprehensive sound system upgrade specifically for Tesla vehicles. This new system is compatible with select Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles and comes in four versions.
For the Tesla Model 3, two packages are offered: an 11-speaker upgrade for the 2018-2021 models (PSS-TSLA-213) and another for the 2022 and later models (PSS-TSLA-223). Meanwhile, Tesla Model Y owners can opt for a 13-speaker system designed for the 2020-2021 vehicles (PSS-TSLA-21Y) or the 2022-2023 models (PSS-TSLA-22Y).
The complete plug-and-play sound system upgrade kits are priced at $2,999.95 and are available for purchase through Alpine's authorized retailers and preferred online stores. Buyers can locate these stores using the Alpine website.
Additionally, Alpine is preparing to launch a 13-speaker upgrade kit in Spring 2024 for Tesla Model 3s equipped with the factory premium audio system. This package will include two extra speakers for the rear deck, with versions available for the 2018-2021 (PSS-TSLA-213P) and 2022-up models (PSS-TSLA-223P).
